Oh Christmas Tree

We put our Christmas tree up and got it decorated. Madison and Karter were big helpers. Notice all the decorations in the same spot. I stayed up after they went to bed and fixed it. We think it turned out pretty cute

Madison Turns 7!!

This past Saturday we had a birthday party for Madison. Her birthday was actually on Monday the 7th but in order to get the family together we had it on Saturday. It turned out to be so much fun. We ate pizza and lasagne, decorated cookies, opened presents and ate a delicious ice cream cake coutresy of Dairy Queen. Everything was delicious and everyone had a great time. I still cant believe that Madison is 7!!! She has grown up so fast. She is a such a sweet well mannered little girl. She loves school and she cant hold still to save her life:) We sure do love her!!! Karter enjoying some cake:) for some reason Karter decided to be the red power ranger for the party!!

Madison after Laci shoved her head in her cake. Laci always shoves the kid's faces in their birthday cakes. They love it. The funny thing about Madison's cake is it was made of ice cream so it was really hard. Her head just bounced off the cake.

Her head bouncing off her cake:)

Blowing out her candles

Her pretty cake!! We were going to do a Candyland cake but I didnt think that all the candy on top of the cake would taste very good so we just got this one from Dairy Queen. They did a great job and she loved it so that was all that mattered

She recruited her two friends that came to her party as her "present helpers"

After opening her Nintendo DS from mom and dad. Her reaction was priceless. Needless to say she loved ALL of her presents

Charlie and Dakota enjoying the sugar cookies

Turkey Day

We had a great Thanksgiving. I of course didnt get any pictures but we did end up having a great day. We started out the day in Kanab at Kris's moms house. We hung our for a few hours and the kids snacked on some food and played some games. After that we went to Grandma Ramsay's house. She had just gotten out of the hospital a few days before so Kris's dad came up to hang out and cook for her. We enjoyed visiting with them and Grandma Ramsay was doing really well for just having surgery so we were happy to see her.
After we were done visiting with everyone in Kanab we headed to Orderville to spend the afternoon with my family. My Grandma Karen cooked our family a yummy dinner. Let me just say how nice it is to see both of our families on holidays. We LOVE it!! The kids had fun playing with my niece and nephew. Kris and I had to work the next day so we drove home that night. Let me just tell you how bummed I was that Kris had to work. I look forward to Black Friday more than the actual Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately he had to work really early in the morning so I missed out cause there was no way I was going to drag my kids out in the craziness. We both had Saturday off so we spent the day putting up our Christmas lights and just hanging out as a family. Then on Sunday Kris cooked his first turkey while I was at work and it was delicious. He did such a good job. And that pretty much sums up our Turkey day and weekend:) Hopefully next year we will have some more time off so we can enjoy it a little more. Sorry I have no pics. I was a huge slacker but there will be pics to come of Madison's 7th B-day party soon so stay tuned....

Thempi's Wedding

This past weekend my little sister, Thempi, had her wedding. We had so much fun. It was such a cute wedding. The night before all of the girls went out to dinner but of course I didn't have my camera, so sorry no pictures. And then at the wedding my camera's batteries died so I had to borrow my dad's camera and use the pictures he took. My mom and I loved shopping for her wedding . She had a "fall" theme. My sister's (Alicia) two kids and my two kids walked down the aisle. The girls were so cute in their dresses and the boys were so handsome. My sister, Alicia, and I got them a room in Springdale that night and then this weekend they are going to Disney on Ice. We are so happy for them and so happy with how the wedding turned out. Congrats Tawn and Thempi!! Thempi dancing with the little girlsThempi with Karter, Austin, Madison and CharlieThe kids enjoying the refreshments. We had pumpkin pie, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cookies and cake and apple crisp. It was delicious!!

The centerpieces. My hubby and my sister in law, Shiloh helped me with these. I was really happy with how they turned out. We also had leaf shaped plates with hershey kisses wrapped liked candy corn on the tables.

We had all the guests sign this picture frame instead of a guest book. Now they can hang it on the wall and look at it every day. Plus the picture frame is super cute

Her cake was so cute. I LOVED it. Crystal Heaton does an amazing job!!

Between my sisters, my cousins and myself we have 7 kids. So we had to get this picture. It is 5 generations!! Yes that's right my kids have a GREAT GREAT grandma. And she is one AMAZING woman! And this is her with Madison and Charlie

Gone Huntin'

So every year before Thanksgiving and Christmas the Ramsay family has a holiday of their own: The Deer Hunt!! We always have sooo much fun. This year Kris and I both drew out so it made the weekend even more fun. The whole family was there other than my sis-in-law Shiloh (we missed ya so much Shy) but luckily my brother-in-law, Kasey brought her kiddos down so we were happy about that. I posted tons of pictures of all our fun so enjoy:)

Bruce and Sadie. These two dogs are so funny. They love each other so muchThis is my little nephew Judd gettin ready to go out hunting. We love that kid!!

And this is my nephew Korbin. He has one of the sweetest little boys I know. On the second morning he came and cuddled on the couch with me for a little while. How sweetThis is my nephew, Kaden, and Karter. Karter loves hanging out with him so much and acts just like him
And these are our two princesses Madison and my niece Stestson. These girls are two little divas. They make me laugh so hard
Me and my hubby in our sexy orange hunting outfits!!
My beautiful niece Stetson
Madison was so tired
I asked them to pose for me and this what I get from KarterOne afternoon we were driving around hunting and Karter fell asleep in the back of the truck with his helmet on

Who's dirtier: Karter or the dog??? I think Karter

These kids are so dang cute. They started a club and they had daily club meetings and Kaden was the club president.

This is my hubby's deer. Nice huh!!

My sister in law Tabitha all tuckered out after a long day hunting.

And this is my deer. Not quite as big as my hubby's but it will do:)

Every year we let the kids carve pumpkins and then we light them at night. They look so cool
I love this picture. All the kids riding in the back of the truckMy hot hubby:)

We were trying to take pictures and the only way Karter would smile and pose is if Uncle Kasey paid him money. Smart kid!!

The first night we go to the cabin Karter cut his eye open. He was a trooper though. We ended up going to the ER in Kanab and got it all fixed up. And my sister works in the ER so we got to visit with her in the middle of the night. Karter was happy his Aunt Alicia was able to doctor him up.
This is a yearly tradition. My brother in law Kasey takes a picture with all the kids. It is fun to see how much they all change each year

This is Kasey's bronco. It is the ultimate hunting vehicle. So fun:)
Another cute picture of all the kidsRiding 4-wheelers
Another pumpkin carving picture. I just realized how out of order all my pictures are. Oh well
Uncle Kole helped the kids with their "club fort" so they made him president for a day. How lucky was he???

Madison and Korbin. Cute little cousins
And this is how we started out the weekend. Karter in the ER in Kanab. I had to take a picture cause this was his first trip to the ER. Surprising i know.
So overall it was a fun weekend and we cant wait till next year!! Thanks Ramsay family for an awesome weekend. We love you guys :)
