Ramsay Reunion

This past weekend we went to Kanab for the Ramsay Family Reunion. I always love going there. We have so much fun and its great to get the family together. This is Stetson with shaving cream in her hair. The kids had so much fun playing in the shaving cream.

All of the kids decided to put on a concert for us. It was so funny. They did such a great job and it was very entertaining. Grandma Ramsay even got up there and joined in on the fun. Go Grandma!!

I cant even begin to tell you how funny these kids are. Karter just stood up there and clicked his tongue. Stetson and Kaden switched off on the guitar and drums. And Madison added to the show with a toy apple that made noise. I dont even know where they found it but hey it made noise so it worked just fine. They all sang and they even told jokes. It was a great show They even made up tickets that they gave to everyone and some of us were even chosen to be V.I.P's.

It was such a fun weekend and its always hard leaving and having to come back to reality. I cant believe summer is almost over. Only a few more weeks and Madison is in first grade. I cant believe it!!

4th of July (A little late)

Sorry this post is a little late but I have been sick all week. Yuck!! I am still not feeling the best but I am feeling better. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I have a kidney infection. Anyone that has ever had one feels my pain. Anyways I still wanted to post about our 4th of July. We started out the day by being in the Hurricane parade. Wendy's did a float and we used our truck and trailer for it. It was so much fun. My niece and nephew stayed with us and they were able to be in the float with us. After the parade we headed to Kanab but somehow got sidetracked and ended up in Fredonia. My sister talked me into playing softball with her and her husband's family. It was so much fun but I haven't played in 7 years. I still did pretty good though. We also hung out with some good friends while we were there. After the games we went to Kanab and had a BBQ at Kris's mom's house. It was so yummy and most of the family was there so it was fun. We stayed there to watch the fireworks. My parents and my sister and her family came to her house to watch the fireworks too which made it even more fun. I love the 4th of July and this was one of the best. It was a long day but well worth it.

So I know I talk about how wonderful my husband is all the time but today is our 3 year anniversary and I just wanted to let him know how much I love him. We have been married for three years but have been together for SEVEN years. Ya that's right SEVEN years. We have been through so much together. It hasn't all been good but we had each other and we made it through. I can't imagine my life without him and he truly is my BEST friend. He puts up with my crap (everyone that knows me knows that I am a crazy person and don't have any patience). He is always so calm in every situation. I am trying to learn from him. I still don't know how he manages to do it. He is the greatest father, brother, uncle and son in the world. Just ask his family, they will tell you the same thing. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Kris, I LOVE YOU!!!

Also on the 7th of July is Sara and Trevor's anniversary and then on the 8th of July is Kasey and Megan's 3 year anniversary. I know, what we were thinking all getting married within one week of each other. The Ramsay family was thrilled j/k. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY GUYS!!

One more thing. It is also the 3 year anniversary of Kole's homecoming from Iraq. We are so proud of you Kole and everything you have done for our family and for our country. THANK YOU!! WE LOVE YOU!!

So as you can see 3 years ago we had one of the best weeks of our lives!! It was a very a happy time for our family. I still remember Kole being the first person Karter would go to (besides Kris and I) without crying. Kole's homecoming was the first time he had met his Uncle. Karter was 10 months old. He went right into Kole's arms and fell asleep. It was perfect!!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

My wonderful husband. Happy Father's Day. I love you soooo much!!!

It was Father's Day yesterday and I wanted to let all the fathers in my life how much I love them. To my own dad: You are the greatest!! You make me laugh and and can always put a smile on my face. Thank you for always being there for me and my family. WE LOVE YOU!! To Kris's dad: Thank you for accepting me as one of your own children and for being a loving grandparent. You give the best advice and WE LOVE YOU!! To Papa Steve: You are so kind and giving. You are always there for us when we need you and for that we thank you. To all our grandpas, uncles, brothers, brother-in-laws, cousins and friends: HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

To my own husband: I love you more than you will ever know. You are the best father and husband I could ever ask for. You are the most kind and caring man I know. I hope you know how much the kids and I appreciate everything you do for us. WE LOVE YOU!!!

So Madi is in Las Vegas this weekend with her grandma so Kris and I decided to keep Karter entertained by taking our four wheeler exploring. The awesome thing about where we live is that we can just leave from our garage and go four wheeler riding. How cool is that!! We also went on a little hike too. Kris and Karter had to show me a place that they think is cool. I agree! It was a really neat place. Karter is a good little hiker. He was going up the rocks like they were nothing. Going down was another story. Later on we took our dog, Bruce for a ride too. Their is this place in Virgin that is called "Virgin Falls Park" It is like this little Oasis. It is so much fun. You can walk right down to the river. You can go swimming, tubing or just hang out and enjoy. We had so much FUN!! It was such a good day and I love spending time with my family. I hate having Madi away but she is well taken care of when she is gone and she gets to do so many fun things. Plus she loves going so that makes it a little easier for me. We stil miss her like crazy and we are sooo excited when she comes home. I posted some pictures of our fun today. I hope you all enjoy:)

FAMILY FUN

So this past weekend Kris and I decided that it was time to get away. So we packed up the kids and our dog, Bruce and took off. We went to the Ponderosa. My parents work at the resort out there so we were able to go swimming. Kris's family also has a cabin out there. We love going out there. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The kids had so much fun and it was good for our dog to release some of his energy. He has plenty of it! We went swimming, shot guns and hung out with my parents. We cant wait to do it again. We are thinking about having Karter's birthday party out there in August. We live so close now we want to TRY to go out more often. I posted some pictures of all our fun. Enjoy!!

Today was my good friend, Sara's wedding. It was so beautiful and she looked amazing. Madison was the flower girl and she looked so cute and did a great job. It was a lot of fun. I saw some old friends, ate good food and shed a few tears. They had the wedding at the Bell Tower in St. George and they were sealed in the Bountiful Temple yesterday. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and they were beautiful. CONGRATS SARA AND NICK!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!
