Thempi's Wedding

This past weekend my little sister, Thempi, had her wedding. We had so much fun. It was such a cute wedding. The night before all of the girls went out to dinner but of course I didn't have my camera, so sorry no pictures. And then at the wedding my camera's batteries died so I had to borrow my dad's camera and use the pictures he took. My mom and I loved shopping for her wedding . She had a "fall" theme. My sister's (Alicia) two kids and my two kids walked down the aisle. The girls were so cute in their dresses and the boys were so handsome. My sister, Alicia, and I got them a room in Springdale that night and then this weekend they are going to Disney on Ice. We are so happy for them and so happy with how the wedding turned out. The centerpieces. My hubby and my sister in law, Shiloh helped me with these. I was really happy with how they turned out. We also had leaf shaped plates with hershey kisses wrapped liked candy corn on the tables.

We had all the guests sign this picture frame instead of a guest book. Now they can hang it on the wall and look at it every day. Plus the picture frame is super cute

Between my sisters, my cousins and myself we have 7 kids. So we had to get this picture. It is 5 generations!! Yes that's right my kids have a GREAT GREAT grandma. And she is one AMAZING woman!And this is her with Madison and Charlie

My grandma Karen had a lunch for the family before the wedding and course Madison is always willing to pose for the camera. Notice the missing tooth. She lost her front tooth 3 days before the wedding. She was a trooper though and was always willing to smile!!

Gone Huntin'

So every year before Thanksgiving and Christmas the Ramsay family has a holiday of their own: The Deer Hunt!! We always have sooo much fun. This year Kris and I both drew out so it made the weekend even more fun. The whole family was there other than my sis-in-law Shiloh (we missed ya so much Shy) but luckily my brother-in-law, Kasey brought her kiddos down so we were happy about that. I posted tons of pictures of all our fun so enjoy:)

We were trying to take pictures and the only way Karter would smile and pose is if Uncle Kasey paid him money. Smart kid!!

The first night we go to the cabin Karter cut his eye open. He was a trooper though. We ended up going to the ER in Kanab and got it all fixed up. And my sister works in the ER so we got to visit with her in the middle of the night. Karter was happy his Aunt Alicia was able to doctor him up.

This is a yearly tradition. My brother in law Kasey takes a picture with all the kids. It is fun to see how much they all change each year

So overall it was a fun weekend and we cant wait till next year!! Thanks Ramsay family for an awesome weekend. We love you guys :)

What we've been up to

So I have been a huge slacker lately. We have been staying busy though. We have also been doing some fun things but of course I always forget my camera:( We were in the Peach Days parade a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun and there were TONS of floats. I think there were 78 all together. We also went and watched my nephew play his first football game in Cedar. It was fun watching him. He did such a good job. I really wish I would have remembered my camera. I am posting some random pictures of Madi and Karter along with our latest accomplishment: OUR YARD!! It's getting really close to being complete. My hubby (who is the greatest in the world) finished the sprinkler system last week so on Monday we had our turf delivered. We are so excited. We have some work left to do. Our next task will be the covered patio but we will probaby wait a couple of months to do that. I really need to thank my hubby for everything. He has done a great job putting my ideas into reality!! I love the way it has all turned out:)

Demolition Derby!!!

Okay..so this post is a little late but its better late then never, right?? A few weeks ago it was the Washington County Fair and they have a Demolition Derby on the closing night of the fair. My manager at work and my hubby decided to get a car ready and and go crash it. In the Washington County Fair my manager is the one who drove the car and Kris and a couple of other guys were in the pit crew. They had so much fun and did surprisingly well for never doing it before and putting the car together in a matter of weeks. Some of the guys take months to get their cars ready.

Well the car survived so we headed off to the Iron County Fair and that is when my hubby got his chance to drive. He was so excited. It was all he could talk about. We probably had the smallest car there but Kris didn't care. He went out ready to CRASH!! He was doing pretty good...until a car came from the oppisite side of the arena and hit him HARD!! I am not going to lie, I was scared. But my hubby survived. The same cant be said about the car. Kris ended up with some bruises, but he loved every minute of it and is already planning on doing it next year. He has plenty of helpers now that all of his friends seen how much fun he had. I asked him to take a couple months off and maybe start on his car after Christmas...we'll see!!

25 Random Things...About Me

Okay so I stole this from my friend Lynnette's blog but I loved reading it and so I thought I would try it out. So here I go... 25 random things about ME:

1) I live in LaVerkin Utah (A place I never thought I would be)

2) I have two beautiful children. Madison is almost 7 and Karter is 4

3) I LOVE the color red

4) I was the prom queen my junior year in high school

5) I never went to college but someday hope to

7) I LOVE to clean and I love things to be organized (Call me O.C.D.)

8) I wish I could move back to my home town. I know, Strange??

9) I had my first child when I was 18

10) My daughter was 4 lbs. when she was born and my son was almost 10 lbs.

11) I have the best husband in the world

12) I also have the best family in the world

13) I hope to someday have the opportunity to travel

14) I LOVE reduced fat wheat thins. They are my favorite thing to snack on

15) I gained a lot of weight after high school

16) I am now trying to lose all the weight I gained

17) I love the outdoors

18) Wore a swimming suit for the first time in over 4 years this summer

19) I talked to a famous person on my phone (Thanks Jason)

20) My husband and I waited 4 years to get married

21) I had a great childhood and wouldnt change a thing

22) LOVED high school and would do it again in a heartbeat

25) I just realized how boring of a person I am and how hard this was to do but I am glad I did it
